Membership & GDPR

The Anglo-Nubian Breed Society (ANBS) complies fully with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

 

Members

We take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information in a legitimate manner to administer your membership and to provide the services you require as a fully paid up member of the Society.

 

The information (name and contact details) you supply to the Society may be used for the following:

 

  • to contact you about your membership

  • to send you a copy of the annual Yearly Journal, Stud goat register and any other correspondence relating to society matters (post, email & telephone).

 

Your information will be held for the duration of your membership. After which if you wish to have your details removed from the electronic records; please contact the secretary in writing to request this removal. If you are unhappy with the way the ANBS handles your data, you may complain to the information Commissioner’s Office at www.ioc.org,uk.

 

Non-Members

From time to time we gather information from non-members regarding stock.

 

Non-members may contact the Anglo-Nubian Breed Society regarding membership.  During the membership application process, correspondence information will be held by the society.

The society will only hold the above information for as long as necessary and then we will dispose of in a safe manner. The Anglo-Nubian Breed Society will not pass your details onto any third party outside of the society unless legally obliged to do so.
