The Anglo Nubian Breeders Award
To be made to the breeder, who is a member of the Anglo Nubian Breed Society in the relevant year, gaining the highest average points in that calendar year.

Points will be awarded for all shows with milking competitions recognised under British Goat Society regulations.

Points will be awarded for female goats who are registered in the Anglo Nubian breed section of the herd book.

A minimum of 2 goats with the same herd prefix must have been shown that year.

Each goat must have been shown at least twice in that year.
Points are to be awarded as follows:
Inspection classes for milkers:

1st place points:
1 less than the total number of goats forward for judging

2nd place points
2 less than the total number of goats forward for judging

3rd place points
3 less than the total number of goats forward for judging
Milking competition:
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed Anglo Nubians within the show placings to achieve 20 points with butterfats of at least 4% at each milking and proteins of at least 3% at each milking.

* If the goat awarded the C.C. or B.C.C. should fail and the reserve qualifies, the points are awarded to the reserve.
Calculating Average Points:
The points for each goat are added together and divided by the number of shows attended in that year. The averages for each goat are then totalled and divided by the number of goats shown. In the case of a draw, the breeder with the greatest number of C.C., I.P.C.C. and B.C.C. to which points were awarded in the calculations will win the award.

The Rochford Memorial Award
To be made to the breeder, who is a member of the Anglo Nubian Breed Society in the relevant year, gaining the highest number of points in that calendar year.

Points will be awarded for all shows organised or supported by the Anglo Nubian Breed Society.

Points will also be awarded for shows chosen by the British Goat Society for the award of the Breeders Challenge Cup. These shows are indicated in the published list of British Goat Society recognised shows by the reference A6.

Points will be awarded for female goats registered in the Anglo Nubian breed section of the herd book.

Points will be awarded for inspection classes and milking competitions.

No points will be awarded for family, novice or other restricted classes.

The Natalie Wing Award
Awarded to the Anglo Nubian milker, owned by a member of the Anglo Nubian Breed Society in the year of the relevant competition, that achieves the highest total points in a recognised milking competition with a minimum of 5% average butterfat and 3.5% average protein. The goat must have exceeded 365 days in her current lactation at the time of the competition.

The Bramblings Award
Awarded to the Anglo Nubian milker, owned by a member of the Anglo Nubian Breed Society at the relevant date, with the highest weight of total solids (butterfat plus protein) within a 365 day recorded lactation, as listed in the British Goat Society Herd Book. (Formerly referred to as the Happylands Award)

The Achievement Award

The Mary Thomasson Award
Awarded to the breeder of the Anglo Nubian male goat whose daughters produced the highest average weight of total solids (butterfat plus protein) in recorded lactations as listed in the British Goat Society Herd Book for that year.
Lactations appearing in that Herd Book as amendments to previous Herd Books are to be ignored for the purposes of the calculations.

The Nitram Trophy
Awarded to the Anglo Nubian milker with the highest average points in any one calendar year.
Eligibility:
1. To be eligible a goat must have achieved more than 20 points in a recognised milking competition, with 4% butterfat and 3.25% protein at both am and pm milking, in 3 competitions.
1. Each of the three competitions must occur in a separate month and they must span at least a four month period.
2. The goat must attain 20 points or over in the calculation of average points. The average butterfat across all shows must be a minimum of 4%. The average protein across all shows must be a minimum of 3.25%.
Calculation of Average Points:
All points achieved in milking competitions from that calendar year are added together and divided by the number of shows entered.
If a goat fails at any show entered that year she is not eligible for the trophy. If, however, she does not have results at a show because of sour samples or lost results etc, the show is disregarded in the calculation of average points.
The Award:
Where the owner of the goat is a member of the Anglo Nubian Breed Society: trophy of an Anglo Nubian goat laying down and a certificate.
Where the owner of the goat is not a member of the Anglo Nubian Breed Society: a certificate.

The Claycroft Award
Awarded to the goat with the highest number of points in the winter milking competition. The goat must have been milk recorded for a period of 6 months between October and March. Points to be calculated in accordance with BGS regulations for shows.
The method of calculation shall be to take the butterfat percentage and multiply this total by the weight of milk in Kg. Multiply the answer by 0.25 and round this figure to two decimal places. Take the protein percentage and multiply this total by the weight of milk in Kg. Multiply the answer by 0.35 and round this figure to two decimal places. The total points obtained shall be obtained by adding butterfat points and protein points.
